Amir - your tour guide in israel

My name is Amir Yakubovitz and I provide tours for private and business . 

I have explored Israel from the lush green valleys and mountains of the north to the incredible deserts in the south. East to west, I have studied this extraordinary country.

I was born in Israel at 1973 in a city outside of Tel Aviv. Our home was filled with love for the land, biblical stories, and educating us about our heritage and country. I am fluent in Hebrew and English. 
In the IDF I served in a combat engineer unit. Today I still serve in the reserves as well as volunteer in search and rescue teams. 

After the army I received my BA in the Geography of Israel and archeology with emphasis on the Second Temple period. I completed tour guide studies as well.

In 2002 I joined my father in our company 'Yeadim B’Teva' which specialized in outdoor activities such as kayaking, mountain climbing, and more. I became a Senior Rappelling Guide at the Wingate Institute. 
This year I completed an Expertise course on Christianity from Yad-beb-Zvi and Israel Tourism office.

Today I am married to my wife Merav and we have 4 children. Merav is a dog trainer that specializes in animal participation for children with special needs.

And yes, I have taken my young family throughout the country, to teach them the beauty and magnificence of Israel.
